Julienas Les Fouillouses has aromas of ripe cherries combined with a slight smoky undertone. On the palate, the black fruit is dominant that is combined with notes of spice. It is a powerful, round wine with silky and abundant tannins.

The grapes are harvested manually after which they undergo traditional Beaujolais vinification, with whole bunches aged for 12 to 15 days in concrete vats. This cuvée matures for 12 months in oak barrels that are 5 to 10 years old.
