La Bodega de Pinoso Terros Tinto Bio 2022

The wine as a whole is fruity, with red and black fruits mixed with sweet aromas of flowers. In the mouth the wine is round and warm, easy to drink with a good and very pleasant finish.

By selecting our best organic grapes, the monastrell and merlot varieties are vinified complementarily and separately to show the typical characteristics of each variety. The merlot grape gives the aromas of pepper, black fruit and truffle, while the monastrell gives the wine the warmth of the Spanish Mediterranean climate, making it fruity and soft. The third variety that makes up this particular wine is alicante bouschet, also known as garnacha tintorera, known for producing tannins and a very intense color.

In order to keep the grapes as intact as possible, harvesting is done early. The skins and seeds are still soaked with the wine for a short time at low temperatures so that the tannins do not become excessive. The result is a fantastic ruby red wine accompanied by intense fruit aromas and soft ripe tannins.

    La Bodega de Pinoso, founded in 1932, is an increasingly organic bodega in the warm D.O. of Alicante, near Valencia. Under the inspiring leadership of Ana Amat, a talented young team works on the wines.

    They combine modern and traditional techniques, work with low levels of sulfites, and use indigenous yeasts and preferably native grape varieties such as monastrell and airèn. The subsoil and microclimate around the winery are ideal for growing these grape varieties. They give the wines of La Bodega de Pinoso just that little something extra.
