Rêve Pecorino has an elegant structure with intense aromas of white flowers and ripe yellow fruit followed by a hint of vanilla. It has great volume with a wonderful richness of flavor. Captivating, intriguing and with a full long finish.
Once fermentation has begun, 50% of the wine is transferred into new barriques, while the remaining 50% continues to ferment in stainless steel tanks. The wines are then assembled and bottled after about 24 months from harvest.
Velenosi was founded in 1984 by two very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi. They combined traditional and modern techniques, leading to their own creative interpretation of winemaking!
Through these insights, the company is constantly growing and adapting itself, creating unique wines that showcase the best of the Piceno region. The heart of the company is located in the historic town of Ascoli Piceno, located in the Marche region and at a distance of about 20 km from the Adriatic Sea and at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level. The company's vineyard plots stretch among the hills surrounding the beautiful valley of the Tronto River, which, thanks to its clayey and fertile soil, has always been suitable for growing grapes. In addition to the four vineyard plots located in Ascoli Piceno, Castorano, Monsampolo and Castel di Lama, there is a vineyard in the area of Ancarano and in the area of San Marcello (AN).
